A good value and safe place but need a remodel.
7.0The community was very nice and very secure. The people at the front gate were very nice and helpful. It was not too far from places to eat and the beach. The condo was comfortable and had a nice view of the golf course. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels for our stay.
− We had to call the electrician and the plumber within the first hour. A ceiling fan was dangling from the wires and the hot water was reversed so we did not think we had hot water. The management company was very responsive and got someone out right away to make the repairs. The condo was nice but needs a serious update! Old berber carpet was just nasty and needs to be replaced. Supplies are lacking. Bring your own Keurig, storage bags, paper towels, TP, garbage bags, dish soap etc as they supply very basic starters. Couch was stained and needs a deep clean. Would be nice to have a book that had information on how to turn on the TV, places to eat, things to do, how to get into the pool (we never found a path and did not have a key so didn't go). A chair on the front porch would have been nice (we took one from the back deck).
We will use this VRBO again when in the area. It was very safe area, enjoyable and SUPER CLEAN.
9.0Excellent location, exceptionally clean condo. Quiet and enjoyable view of the golf green area. Free WIFI, convenient parking in front of the condo.
− A few minor issues such as a lamp wasn't working in one bedroom, so we borrowed one from the second bedroom. No pods for the dishwasher or dish detergent, no facial tissue, ice maker and garbage disposal wasn't working, tv in the bedroom would not connect and took us 24 hrs to get the tv in the living room to connect and work properly. We made a trip to the store to purchase needed items. Written TV instructions would be most helpful!!!
With a few upgrades to remedy issues mentioned above would stay here again
8.0Tidewater is a beautiful community. Joey’s was convenient and within walking distance dinner. Nice view of the golf course. Checkin and checkout very easy.
− We had one partial roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and had to buy more. One roll of paper towels and no extra garbage bags. Be prepared to bring extra with you. TV instructions would be helpful.
