Anna Maria Beach Condo-2 Bed/2 bath- Sleeps 6♡

Condo was useable but had to overlook several issues.

Unit was clean. A/C worked. Spacious. Good shower. Good bed.

− Front door casing is cracked – Hugh gap in the door –- we did not feel safe with the door not fitting securely. A paper towel was sticking out of the ceiling fan/light fixture ceiling cover – this is a safety hazard! Air filter in the A/C unit was very dirty. We changed out the filter! Shower curtain in the master bath smelled – it had to be washed before we could use the bathroom. Could not use master bathtub – no drain stopper to hold the water. Water facet was very loose in the master bath and water pressure was low! It had an iron but no ironing board. No curtain next to n door and no curtains on the door leading to the balcony – no privacy. Refrigerator smelled like fish. Could not use the kitchen blender – blades are missing. Toilet paper dispensers in both bathrooms are loose – verily hanging on the wall Both clocks had dead batteries and did not work. The batteries in the TV Remote did not work and there were no instructions for how to use the TV. No information about the Condo, etc., how to access the pool. Had to pay the owner a $100 early check-in fee for checking in before 4 p.m. – I have never had to pay an early check-in fee before. There was no information about the area or things to do which would have been helpful.

We would consider going again if the pool and other amenities were completed.

The location is wonderful...close to the beach and community. It is furnished so nicely.

− 1) This is a second floor condo---and that should have been indicated on the listing. 2) The pool and surroundings remained closed all throughout our visit. We realize the whole complex is still recovering from the hurricane but we were looking forward to the pool being open. 3) It is a construction zone. There was a large construction dumpster placed right next to our car..nails and other materials were prevalent. The crews did abide to the posted hours but during the day is was often quite loud. 4) There was a lack of transparency about the state of the property.

It was well stocked and clean

− The bathroom fans were very very very loud and the front door had large gaps for insects and weather to enter the condo.

The house was modern and had everything you could want. Walkable to everything!
