We stayed for a whole week, and did not once get bored in the villa!
10.0The location was very nice and central. The layout of the Vila was great, as the rooms were spacious, with plenty of comunal spaces. The pool is a great size, and there is an even bigger pool near the beach!!! The walk down to the beach is less than five minutes. The property is gated, making us feel super safe! The rooms were all clean, and the chef made excellent food! I would highly recommend this villa, and felt it was a great value for money!

6.0The location was lovely. A nice walk to and from the beach. The house was clean and well kept. It was short walk away to various water sports activities.

We reported this to the owner, Hugh, who said he would speak to him. His behaviour during our stay was poor. He was rude and ignored some members of the group. In some cases, he was tipsy or drunk and would initiate inappropriate conversations that were not appreciated. He offered to buy some groceries we didnt bring with us, as he bought the fresh catch of the day, however, he doubled the prices of the goods we asked him to bring e.g. ksh 1000 for coffee that was 580 at the market. We went and bought our own groceries for the remainder of our stay there. Suffice it to say, he was the worst part of the experience.

Just what we were looking for...
9.0Seaside Villa 1 immersed us into the Swahili coastal vibe as soon as we arrived, beautifully decorated, very comfortable and cool! We loved the privacy & peace that the villa afforded us, the private pool was a perfect temperature and always clean. The house staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful. Being at the back of the property and surrounded by trees meant no wind at all at this time of the year. It was great being a short beach walk from a couple of fantastic bars. Our host provided a great connection to take a dhow ride to snorkel on the sandbar which was highly memorable.
