We had a wonderful stay overall, and with a few maintenance improvements, this could easily become an exceptional holida
7.0This was our second stay here, and we really enjoy the location. The kids love the pool, and we appreciated the new doors and windows, the comfortable new couches, and the large TV. The place is great for a week’s holiday, and we’ve enjoyed our time here. However, if I were the owner, I would spend a couple of days at the property and fix the remaining issues. There are several small maintenance and housekeeping items that, if addressed, would make a huge difference to the overall guest experience. With a bit more attention to detail, this property could easily become an excellent holiday rental.
− Here’s a polished and balanced version of your review: Overall, there have been some improvements, but there are still several areas that need attention. The new dishwasher is a nice addition and the bathrooms look better than before. However, the toilet has a very cheap plastic seat that feels out of place. The large washing machine in the bathroom is too bulky, and the tumble dryer in the dining area takes up too much space. While the appliances themselves are good, they don’t suit the layout and make the living area feel cramped. The cupboards are still rotten and develop a bad smell when they’ve been closed for a while. The frying pan should be replaced—we ended up buying a new one ourselves because the existing one is no longer usable. The toilets still have a strong urine smell, which suggests they are not being cleaned thoroughly. This needs more attention from the cleaning staff. The plaster around the newly installed windows was never painted. This is a small job that would probably only take a day or two, but it would make a significant difference to the overall appearance. Cleaning mops and chairs are often left on the porch after cleaning. We have put them away ourselves, but they are regularly left outside again. Lastly, the curtains are difficult to open and close. When we tried to close them, the entire curtain rail came off the wall. The current wooden curtain rails are not suitable and should be replaced with a sturdier system.
