We made it a good trip and mostly overcame the stated negatives.
7.0The kitchen was well equipped. The site location was good and chalet location. Sound-proofing seemed good. Decent space for dog-walking. Good space for parking. Interesting statue in dog-walking field with a nice view. Close driving distance to local landmarks/attractions.
− The TV signal wasn't very good. The beds were uncomfortable, especially the 2 single beds. No walking paths or pavements from the site so had to drive/catch bus to go anywhere.
A bit disappointing.
6.0− Pet hair all over sofa, toilet brush dirty, vacuum cleaner not working, no dustpan and brush. Coin meter as it did not state this in the booking, mattresses were uncomfortable too.
Great little base with no major issues.
8.0Good communication with the owners, well presented property that covered all our requirements. Significantly better than some of the other chalets on the site with false 10 star reviews obviously submitted by an unethical owner.

− A few niggles, door hard to lock, freezer door on fridge broken, vacuum cleaner broken, tv reception poor, no veg knife or paring knife, all small details easily solved
Lovely well furnished chalet, warm and plenty of hot water.Very clean.

− The Norton Park site looks quite tired and a little run down. No facilities at all on the site.
