Relaxing, enjoyable, friendly and intereating

8.0

Location was very good. Easy reach if various coastal locations and pubs by car. Plenty of outside seats and tables for relaxing and eating. Good sized garden with plenty of sniffy areas for dogs. Safe parking.

Less public footpaths for walks from cottage without using main roads. Managed to use a 2 mile circuit outlined in cottage information.

Felt very comfortable, lovely country escape

Could use a little modernization/maintenance, the bathroom bin falling to bits for example

Nice location outside space drab could have been an ideal place to stay

We had some issues with the property on arrival and during stay . Damp smelly mop left in kitchen cupboard which made the whole place smell, host was non responsive initially then rude we complained about light fittings too that had become detached from ceiling it was sorted but we were made to feel uncomfortable

Taking the above in consideration, it was actually a nice converted barn, in a nice area and very peaceful.

6.0

It was in a nice location, surrounded with fields and a quiet environment.

I know it was a barn at the end of the day but, it could have been a little cleaner and safer. The first night we struggled to find the barn as we arrived late and there were no lights (only directly outside the barn) Also we had quite a few 8 legged friends join us, so we had to go around removing our friends as my wife and daughters didn’t fancy spending a night with the eight legged friends. Cars, not using the allocated parking spaces and parking in front of the gates (black BMW) blocking the direct access to the barn we were staying in (luckily there were two entrances)
