10.0The host is very friendly & helpful! We were worried about the cleanliness of the unit at first, but it was absolutely fine and a good stay. The host was patient in communication and explained the issue that we found in the review. There is a very slight smell from the bathroom drain but it's totally acceptable as we find it common in condominiums also the homestay price is very affordable compared with the hotel. Everything was perfect for a family visit. The house was clean, great location nearby township and tourist spot. Easy check-in as the host gave a detailed explanation of it . Definitely will book again for future stay!
Apartment stank of sewage!
1.0− Like the other reviews, one of the toilets absolutely stank of sewage which infested the whole apartment even with the door closed. It is a maintenance issue with the "U" bend I'm guessing (maybe a leak that meant no water to block the smell). None of the linen seemed to be washed and the mattresses were very stained. We could not stay there for even one night. We were in the apartment for 3 hours total because that's how long it took to find alternative accommodation. The owner refused to give us a full refund, they gave us half of our money back.
Value for money. Close to attractions.
9.0The host was very thoughtful. There were slipper for use in the apartment so that in the early mornings our feet would not be too cold, or when we get into the bathrooms. I appreciate that the host has an extra set of extension cord that we could use located in one of the cabinets.
− There was a slight smell coming from the bathroom, but understand this is due to design of the apartment block, nothing to do with the host.
