Good size property for my family. Property could do with a little tlc. But enjoyed our stay

DO NOT RENT, Extremely expensive for a dirty and dangerous property.

The wet room was nice(ish)

− *The stench of damp and mould as soon as you walk in the front door. *The disgusting bed sheets and pillows. They were all dirty and uncomfortable. *The quilt covers didn't fit the quilt. *There were 2 pillows in every pillow case, which made it uncomfortable, and all pillows disgusting and dirty.33 *The carpets were filthy. * The walls had paint pealing off them. * There was rising damp all in the lounge, and it stinks. *The floor in the kitchen was dangerously uneven with large lumps under lino. *We should have been told about the noisy pub over the road. This is because we were on a business trip and needed to be up early. *The garden was an overgrown mess. * Beer cans on the decking. *The sofa felt greasy and dirty. *The front garden was dirty, overgrown, and not welcoming.

Location was great, but the "Stunning and Lovely 3 bedroom house" is deceiving. Not for us.

The location was good, pub across the road, bus stop nearby, close to the City. The appliances in the property were good.

− The property was advertised as all on the ground floor, it was two storey, no use to us older folk with heavy suitcases trying to access a steep staircase which has no hand rails. Our luggage stayed in the loung room. The light on the landing upstairs had no light bulb and neither did the kitchen light. Some of the doors had hinges that needed repair, we didn't attempt to open or close them. The kitchen chairs were coming apart. The kitchen floor was uneven, it appears the floor is being pushed up from underneath making it quite dangerous as it's not visible until I tripped on the way out the back door. The carpet on the staircase needed cleaning. The back yard looked nothing like the photos in the add, grass was shabby, the fences broken on all sides, we had to prop the clothes line up to use as it was leaning over. The drain from the kitchen sink was not connected to a pipe it ran freely and the drain pipe we believe it should be attached to was blocked and overflowing. All in all the backyard was very uninviting. The "lovely" patio was dirty and needed maintenance. We opened the bottom draw in the kitchen looking for instructions to the washing machine and it was full of unopened mail.

Beds were comfy....kitchen was nice

− Beds were comfy....but sheets were king-size on double quilts..so kept messing up throughout the night.and sheets were bobbly.... beds had hair in them..so did question if they were clean or changed...house had a bit of smell to it...slight damp on livingroom walls...smelt like it hadn't been stayed in for a while...was dusty and I had an awful time with my dust allergies....it did smell of smoke in the bedroom we stayed in at the back....carpets could also do with a clean and decor touching up....I did expect more from this property ....
