Interesting, quiet glamping
8.0The location was quiet, and the fire pit was lovely. The property does not supply firewood, be aware of that, but we picked up a log at Walmart and the previous tenant must have left some wood so we used that. Shower and bathroom were great, the grill worked well, and it was a beautiful, quiet area. Previous tenants had forgotten to sign out of the Firestick, BTW, so if you're going to use that...maybe make sure you log out. Stars were lovely, although the trees occluded part of the sky. Still a beautiful night by the fire. Check in and out was simple, no issues at all with the reservation. Definitely worth it if you're in the area.
− The drive in was more difficult than expected. The final ~2 miles were gravel roads with some bumpy spots and hills. Nothing too onerous, but probably worth having a warning on the website. That being said, I made it in with a low clearance Nissan Fairlady Z and only slightly scraped at one point. (Car was fine, no damage or anything) My wife helped by pointing out each rock and stump so I could avoid them, haha.
We only had one night but it was very nice and I’m glad we got to see it.

8.0Quite, out of the way, but very close to our event. Perfect for the occasion. Pricey but pleasant.
− There were A LOT of flies. Huge ones. We killed 7-8 during our two night stay. I think the previous guest left the door open during their stay, they left a mess in the fire area as well.

− not so clean and looks new so wood on deck needs to be sanded for splinters. Ladder to top loft could be more secure.
