Lovely family chalet
9.0Lovely chalet that felt private/secluded, especially given it's quite a big park. Lovely outdoor, under cover seating area. Private parking. Lots to do onsite - indoor and outdoor pool, slides, play areas, lake, entertainment - all included. Also some food outlets/restaurants and extra (payable) activities possible e.g. canoeing, mini golf. Felt safe
− Listing said BBQ was available but there wasn't (we're quite outdoorsy people so we were expecting and hoping for one). However the onsite Spar sold BBQ packs which included rental of a gas BBQ and food. SPAR also sold an electric BBQ (coal BBQs not allowed) which worked out better value for us. Chalet was clean and equipped enough but some clumps of dust did float across the floor, so I don't think it had been cleaned thoroughly often (e.g.under the beds).
