Wood fire was beautiful

− Yard was unkept and the bbq/pizza oven wasn’t usable was filthy dirty! Floor inside was dirty we had black feet some sheets were dirty and only 1 toilet roll between 7 people.. there was dirty plates in the drawer and a dirty oven tray in the oven, the lounge room curtains don’t shut properly and the blinds that are verticals are missing some behind the washing machine was filthy! And smelt like previous pets

At the peak rate of $295/night it was disappointing that our reasonable expectations were not met.

We chose this accommodation as one of the few being pet friendly. We found the house had clean essential items and areas i.e. bedding, towels, kitchen and bathroom. There were more gadgets, goods and miscellaneous items than you could wish for. The pizza oven was in a great space.

− Holiday accommodation should be clean, maintained and serviceable with first impressions carrying most weight. Some areas were dirty or dusty and some soft furnishings were dilapidated. Some essentials were missing i.e. cheese knives, smaller bowls and wine glasses. Embarrassingly our dinner guests' gift of red wine was consumed in flutes. Most disappointing were the outside areas. Although being in a great space the pizza oven base was a biohazard that had to be replaced with another after cleaning. Both gas lighters were appropriately relegated to the bin and another purchased. We didn't use either fireplace, but I suspect the lack of kindling would have made that difficult. Regarding the enclosed yard, we found it was unkempt with long grass which semi-concealed pet hazards i.e. plastic peg pieces, wood, plastic and other materials, aged dog poo, and even a rusty screwdriver lying in one 'lawn'. Overall, it appeared that the place was either unused for some time or preparatory cleaning was ineffective. Maintenance of the yard was definitely lacking.

Big house. Great for large families or groups.

Big house and plenty of space for a large families or groups. The owners were super helpful with an urgent request upon arrival that got sorted within a couple of hours (given it was late Friday afternoon we were very grateful for their assistance).
