Overall ok if u don’t have much options nearby, but the host really need to take care of the cleaness part.
7.0The property is well equipped with kitchen appliances , good neighborhood.
− It is dirty! All the white towels are brownish .. very worn… and when we enter in the property the cleaner left bunch of towels inside the dryer. And the bed when we get the blanket up there were many women hair underneath the pillow.
This place was overpriced and in poor shape. Pictures very misleading.
3.0The location was fine. It was 5-6 blocks from the ocean and it was a good beach. The kitchen was fine. The host/manager was responsive and amenable.
− A fair amount of things: - The carpet was trashed. After calling the manager we were told that it was tar from the beach area. ANd that it happened 6 weeks earlier. - The couch and ottoman was trashed. This is the main piece of furniture. It looked like animals (or people) had soiled it. It was likely way more than the tar. We covered the couch with beach towels. - The place was "well used". It is in need of some attention to dirty walls, dry wall that is worn, decrepit baseboards next to tub, kitchen blinds do not work, etc - Walls are thin. You could hear hwy noise in the morning (101 is very close). At 7:00am the train starts running, which is 30 yards from the apt. This was not a problem for us, but might be for someone who sleeps in. Outside the apt the hwy noise is quite loud. - The apt view is of a trailer park (well maintained) and another complex that is 20 yards from door.
