It was over comfortable
9.0I really like the location and it felt safe. Very close to grocery store. Also, had some pots and pans that we could use
− I did not like that the pullout bed mattress was dirty and smelled like pee

10.0Everything is coded with the keys. I ended up extending my stay over and over because I just didnt want to leave. The owner was very gracious and attentive to my every need. Am sticking with his bookings whenever I'm in town.
Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to explore the Eugene area.
10.0The home was clean, welcoming and smelled great upon arrival and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The host was friendly and the housekeeper was so sweet and helpful.
− Everything was pretty great.

Disappointing Stay
4.0Location was fine. Home is roomy.
− Meaningful communication with Sean was not good! I began corresponding with Sean on Dec. 8, 2025 in preparation for my Dec. 19th & 20th visit to Eugene. We texted exclusively at that time. I received numerous "automated" text messages from Sean explaining my 4:00 PM check-in process, and telling me "how much he loved his home. . .and that 5-Star service means handling what comes up and helping me enjoy my stay." However, things went downhill upon arriving in Eugene on Fri. Dec. 19th. Sean texted me the entry code for the home @ 2:02 PM. I texted Sean @ 3:10 PM and asked if was OK to head over to the home at that time. Sean texted that the previous guests in the home had checked out late without notifying him, so the home would not be ready until 4:00 PM. I texted Sean that that was OK. I did some shopping and then went over to the home @ 4:30 PM. Upon arriving I discovered that the cleaning was still not finished as one of his cleaners (Nicole) was still working in the home. Nicole apologized for not being finished with the cleaning. I walked through the downstairs of the home and into the kitchen area and could still smell the strong odor of cleaning solvents. I noticed there were no paper towels in the kitchen; and that the cups, glasses, plates and silverware were still in the dishwasher. Nicole finished cleaning and left. I went to bed that night without incident. On Sat. Dec. 20th @ 9:54 AM I texted Sean that I needed toilet paper and extra bath towels. I went to the Ducks football game and returned @ 10:09 PM only to find that no toilet paper nor bath towels had been brought to the home. I texted Sean and asked him to call me. Sean called me and claimed he never received my 9:54 AM text. I told Sean that it seemed curious that the only text he didn't receive was the one I sent requesting something. Sean apologized. However, I explained to Sean that nothing had gone as he had advertised.
