9.0Liked the lodge and communication with the landlord. Absolutely loved the surroundings, the pub and pleople across the street. Giant Sequoias near by. Appreciated fridge and coffee.
− Would have loved a kettle in the room.
Shame about the spider web otherwise comfy stay.
7.0Spacious room with comfy beds. Looks like it’s recently been renovated.
− Large spiders web and no soap in the bathroom. Spoke to hosts, quick reply but a pot of soap was left outside the door and no one removed the big web.
Amazing location and views!
9.0Beautiful location and nice facilities. If being in the wild and disconnecting is your goal then this is the place! Deer feeding feet from you, no cell service, amazing views of the stars, and a hole in the wall bar 100 yards away.
− No A/C, which we assumed is standard, so that’s probably our fault. Luckily it wasn’t needed as it actually got quite cool, but a box fan would work wonders to help cool the room down after the heat of the day. One of the positives of this place can also be a negative. The unit lost power around 2am, which kills the wifi, so there’s no way to contact anyone and notify them that power is out.
