− The unit was OK but certainly could use some elbow grease to clean up the unit and refurbish some of the furniture
Perfect location to explore the island but make check your room is part of the resort and rent a car
4.0This is the perfect location to explore the entire island. A rental car is a must. You are 20-60 mins from all the best beaches, 5 mins from Safeway, 20 mins from Costco. The view from the condo is amazing.
− They didn’t tell us we weren’t part of the resort so be didn’t get any of the resort amenities, specifically towels, beach towels, or room cleaning and beach items like wagon, umbrella, chairs and cooler. We stayed here 9 days and didn’t even get a linen change. The room is outdated with little to no way to cook anything. The fridge didn’t keep food cold so even the non cooking food items like poke wouldn’t last more than a day. If you haven’t been to Kauai to go out to eat for a family of 3 is at least $100 a meal. So the ability to at least cook eggs and bacon for breakfast and rice for some poke or pork is important. Also the beach in front of the condo is not recommended to swim. It has rocks everywhere a strong current and decent waves. I could handle it but my wife and child could not. We got this room discounted so it was worth it but I wouldn’t rebook unless we were part of the resort.
