尾道らしさを満喫できました。キッチンの設備も十分で、お布団の寝心地も良かったです。

− とにかく宿泊費が高過ぎる。それと、宿までのアクセスが悪過ぎる。かつ近くに駐車場が無い。それと、オールセルフの無人ゲストハウスなのに設備が完璧ではない(今回の場合は、暖房のリモコンの電池切れで気温3度の寒い日に50分近く暖房無しの我慢を強いられる)。純和風の宿で琥珀色の灯りで雰囲気は良いのに、浴室は1人分のスペースのシャワーのみで、湯槽無しで立ちっぱなしの状態の為興醒めが酷い。

とてもおしゃれで且つ落ち着く雰囲気でよかったです。またタオルや歯ブラシセット、ドライヤーまで準備してくれていてうれしかったです。

− アメニティに、タオルや歯ブラシセット、ドライヤーなども記載して頂けるとわざわざ持っていくことなく、荷物も減らせたのに…と思いました。 また、玄関の扉には内側からチェーンとか物理的な鍵がかけることが出来ると安心して過ごせるかなって思いました。

Simply charming and beautiful

Where to start? Amazing and calm location in one of the most breathtaking cities in Japan. Would definitely come back again to Onomichi and to this accommodation. Just beware a plenty of steps to get here. Very beautiful accomodation, sensitive but modern-looking reconstruction of a traditional house. Decently equipped bathroom and kitchen. The garden, while very basic, allows for spending a very peaceful time outside. And it can also host a range of birds!

− Definitely did not like the communication during check-in process. Sending photo of an ID over e-mail is a big no no from the cybersecurity and identity security. Plus, when I actually sent it, there was no response from the host(?) that they recieved it and all is good - had to write them message myself. Shower feels... claustrophobic. Keep in mind!

I have no idea why this accomodation got bad reviews because it is amazing, but i have heard japanese tourists give unfair low reviews. The traditional house is renovated very stylish-ly, and it is in an excellent location right next to a small temple park and 5 min from main street with cafes/restaurant/etc where you get down by the most iconic photogenic stairs overlooking the Onomichi railroad crossing. The inside of the house has everything you need, from cooking equipment to washing machine. Wifi was good, the tv modern with apps and stuff if you are into that kind of thing. I also really liked the simple small backgarden that gave the whole place a sense of serenity. While the house is traditional but it has been renovated into modern style and with solid walls so you have privacy and don't hear any neighbors, and unlike what someone in reviews said i was surprised that the house is NOT cold - maybe they did not know how to use the very strong heating AC unit that heats up the space pretty quickly and you can ramp up the temperature as you please, that is kept by the thicker renovated walls pretty well. If you are cold even then you can turn on the warming electric carpet on the tatami mats.

− Seriously can't think of anything, the whole place is awesome. Maybe really change the lock password because it is too simple but the neighborhood is so safe that i wouldn't be afraid even if the door were opened lol
