Lovely place, excellent value for money
10.0Lovely place, offering excellent, spacious and clean accommodation close to the center of Cascais (about 20mins walking in a safe and nice neighbourhood). I was greated by the host upon arrival by train from Lisbon, and shown around the place. Everything was very clean, the kitchen was very well equipped with lots of utensils, the bathroom was quite small but had a good shower with hot water and soaps. The bed was a bit too hard for me personally, as is usual the case upon my stay in Portugal but I managed, and I slept well because the place is very quiet at night. There's quite some street noise during the day, especially from the buses that pass by, but it was fine. Upside is the bus takes you anywhere in the area, so even without a car you can easily reach places to visit. I enjoyed the terrace and had breakfast there, but did not make use of the pool (although it looked very tempting). Very much appreciated the welcome gifts and the attention paid to making guests feel comfortable. Value for money is excellent! Would recommend!
