8.0Lilly's Cottage is in a great location to explore western Crete both north and south coast. The sea and the mountains are very close by and there are lots of places to explore. Lily was very welcoming and provided us with homemade dishes which was really useful after a long day out exploring. Our 6 year old son really enjoyed spending hours exploring the garden and olive grove. Beware the rip tides on some of the beaches on the north coast. There are no signs so read the guide books. Overall we had a great holiday and we will be back to stay again next year.

10.0If you are looking for a beautiful and quiet place to relax then this is it! Lily is a lovely and welcoming lady (thank you again for the food and drink on arrival... fab!). Shops and the beach are in easy walking distance, as are some good restaurants. The cottage is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures, and has been decorated stylishly throughout. A great holiday.
