Lovely, peaceful stay with views out to the ocean at the end of Terceira island.
9.0We wanted to stay in a traditional lava rock Azorean house, and this was perfect! It had lots of character and was in a quiet town at the far end of Terceira. The grounds and surroundings were lovely. The house was authentic but also renovated to include all of the kitchen and bathroom amenities we needed. The hosts were very communicative and responsive and came to fix the laundry machine right away. We stayed for 6 nights and loved it!
− The one suggestion we would make is to add a couple more lamps or other forms of lighting in the main living space, around the kitchen, and in the sitting areas, as we found those spaces a little low in light due to the fact that the older style of house has smaller windows compared to newer houses.
