Spacious,nice view of lake,comfy beds.nicely decorated.good contact from company .overall lovely place to stay.

− Creaking floor boards need improvement.more dining chairs for 8 people

Our family stayed over the Christmas period so although location was good the on site activities were limited for the children aged 1-8 yrs. Local duck race and ice skating rink in the nearby hotel made up for this. Visited by the manager at the start of the visit to ensure we had all we needed. House was lovely , warm despite the weather outside and tastefully decorated. Plenty of kitchen equipment but little cupboard space for food. The integrated appliances were showing signs of age with broken fridge door and rust in dishwasher ,kitchen scales would have been appreciated. Generous supply of washing up/ dishwasher liquids/ rubbish bags so can’t fault housekeepers. Showers worked well with enough hot water for everyone. The beds were amazingly comfortable with beautiful white crisp cotton bedding and comfortable pillows . No provision for a toddler though so no high chair available so we brought our own and we had to bring our own cot mattress and bedding for the travel cot . Altogether a thoroughly enjoyable time .

− Broken bathroom door handle that could have got a child stuck in if we hadn’t removed the lock mechanism. Didn’t like the hob - not easy to understand how it worked . Had to dry out 2 fold up chairs from outside to sit 8 round table even though house should accomodate 8.

− Average level of cleanliness & poor maintenance of the property (Bathroom doors wouldn't close properly, decor is tired and furniture is old/dated)

Location was gorgeous. Lodge was really comfortable and a great place to stay as a base for our wedding. Rooms were a good size and the open plan layout gave space and room to us as a family. Security on site was a bonus. Staff and booking company were really communicative and helpful.

− Would just love to come back when weather better to fully appreciate the setting.

Location to water park is good , we had some issues as below only due to the extortionate price we paid for 2 nights I would have expected perfection

− It was miss sold on website with photos of end of terrace round house when it is actually mid terrace with neighbours both sides which we did not want . The property will just about cater for 8 adults but is really only suited to 6 adults or kids and the noise insulation is shocking, hearing every noise upstairs from downstairs and neighbours noise 2 doors down. There is only seating to eat on decking for 4 adults. A bench is not a suitable seat for eating.
