The villa was lovely

− Was only cleaned twice and towels only replaced twice in 10 days. They began to smell. Had rules about not wearing sunscreen in the pool or we would get a $100 fine. This is ridiculous and we ended up burnt every day. Such a unrealistic rule which needs to be changed

Excellent location near JL Legian. Villa was located in quiet area so we had no noise. Private pool a plus for the kids.

− Only thing I can pick is the shower head issue in main bedroom. Only a trickle of water came out so not sure if it was the shower head or water pressure. Upstairs shower wasn’t as bad. Also very hard to find the villa in the dark. I have added photos to assist with future visitors. I hope it helps!

I like the cozy vibes and relaxing atmosphere. It was quite a pleasant stay. Very clean and neat as well. The airconditioners and fans were in good, working condition too. Pool was clean. Value for money.

− We had a hard time trying to locate the villa. Had to ask the locals around, but even they don't know where it's located. Checked Google Maps too, but it was unclear and very complicated to pinpoint its exact location. Went to the reviews section on the Booking.com app to see if there's anyone faced similar issue as well and true enough, there were directions given by a reviewer, so we followed accordingly and we managed to locate it. Also, it was very confusing as we could only see a sign that bears a very different name which is 'Villa Santai', which made us confused as to whether we arrived at the wrong villa or not. The 'De Kubu' villa sign was rather faded and very hard to see. I just couldn't comprehend as to why were there 2 signs that bear 2 completely different villa names. Lack of toothpastes, toothbrushes as well as cotton buds in the bathrooms. There was a bottle of pink liquid in the bathroom, which I had to figure it out myself if it's soap or shampoo as it wasn't even labelled clearly. Turns out, I recognised the smell of the liquid and it was Lifebuoy soap. There wasn't any shampoo being provided then.
