One of my best memories of my 2 months in Japan!

The Ryokan doesn't provide meals (there are good restaurants nearby) but excels in warmth and hospitality. The owner, Shin-san, made us special coffee for our early departure and drove us to the train station. He even dropped off a piece of my luggage at my hotel in Takamatsu, so I wouldn't have to carry it on my Henro climb. His command of English is also helpful for the foreign traveler!

No negatives. Very clean, comfortable lodgings with small on-site onsen bath

A real gem!

The place to be!!! I had an excellent stay due to the hosts dedication to this wonderful ryokan and its guests. He put extraordinary effort in supporting me with my stay starting with a Restaurant Reservation managing the Chef to create a special meal just for me with local ingredients I mentioned to have heard about. He gave directions, even drove or walked me to places and I could use the ebike whenever I needed. I am absolutely speachless about this dedication and impressed by the depth and and quality of his recommendations. The accomodation is extraordinary beautiful, is nicely located in walking distance to a cable car leading to a location at the 88 Temple route and the onsen is very comfortable. This location is a reason to Visit Shikoku! Thanks a lot for making this wonderful stay happen!

Enjoyable stay in family run ryokan near Temples 84 and 85

Family run ryokan. Shin speaks excellent English. He will pick you up and drop you off from nearby stations. You can walk to Temples 84 and 85 from here. No meals available but Shin will take you to supermarket. Lovely private onsen.

all good

I stayed for 4 nights. The hotel is in walking distance to the 85th temple, as well as artist Isamu Naguchi’s former studio/Museum. The room and public area are all very very clean. I enjoyed the hot bath enormously after a long day. The owner of the hotel is super friendly who really takes care of the guest‘s comfort and safely. I borrowed the electrical bike from the host to cycle along the coastlines. It was the best way to explore local areas,
