Beautiful location would have stayed again if management would have handled the termite issue better
4.0The location was fantastic! The host was responsive and easy to communicate with. The property was clean. The pool was nice and the neighborhood was peaceful. Gorgeous beach and there was a couple of chairs and umbrellas left for our use.
− Termite swarmers inside the bathroom and living quarters. They were SO bad we all had to fit into the one bedroom at night and in the morning there were wings dropped everywhere and their worm bodies crawling in the linens and on our things… I understand this could be unforeseen for the rental company but they didn’t handle it well which is concerning. If they would have handled it better we would probably have stayed again. We were not offered other room and only a very low extremely low discount. We dealt with the swarmers for two nights and the other two days there was plumbing issue so water service was interrupted for hours… we did not sign up for all of that and it definitely was not the vacation we had hoped for. Our neighbors did not have the problem with the bugs as I said it was likely a fluke during swarming season which is understandable but it ruined our stay so we should have been compensated at least for the two nights or maybe even half price for the two nights…but we were not and that is concerning because if we were we would stay again in the future.. outside of termite season.
