8.0Overall is good, location is perfect for visiting our relatives it was so easy to get nearby towns & villages.
− There were only a few minor things needs to be fixing on the property eg the window lock which I already reported by text to the duty team. Also there was no hair dryer available! As it listed on the website.

7.0The house is clean and well appointed and served the purpose for our stay very well. Although the property has 3 bedrooms it wasn’t possible to seat more than 2 people to eat.

Very good location for visiting Durham and Newcastle.
8.0The view from the front of the property was excellent. The bed linen and towels were high quality and very clean. The location was excellent for walkers and a short walk to a lovely village where a pub serving meals and other eateries were to be found.
− There was a small breakfast bar in the kitchen with space for 2 people, however there was no dining table in the lounge or even a coffee table. As the property was for 5 people this made eating indoors difficult. Coasters to protect upstairs furniture need to be provided as had to fold tissues on bedside table to stand drink on. There was already a cup stain on one of the bedside cabinets.
Relaxing and quiet. Perfect distance from Durham for us seeing our son.
9.0Exceptionally clean, very quiet and comfortable. We would definitely come again.
− Just a couple of things, it would have been good to have an inside drying stand, as it was very poor weather while we were there and our clothes got soaked but we couldn’t dry them anywhere, except over the hangers! Also there’s not a table and chairs to sit and eat at and not enough cutlery for 5 people. Our sons visited us for a meal and one of us had to use a spoon and eat on our laps. One of the drawers second one down, in the freezer is broken on the right. One mug is chipped. Apart from those trivial things we were very pleased with staying here.
