This House Ruined It For Us

− Mold on kitchen ceiling from bathtub that previously leaked upstairs. Broken/unsafe furniture. Small tree growing in the steps to the lake access. Broken/rotting boards on pier. BBQ grill rusted out could not be used. Firepit had no bottom to it, could not be used. Dirty kitchen drawers. Mold and slime in the “spa tub”. No hand soap, dirty shampoo dispensers in showers. We had to purchase basic supplies, paper towels, hand soap, washing powder. Bath towels were old and stained. Floors had trash under couches upstairs and down. Paint peeling from bathroom wall near shower. Floors not mopped. Only bottom sheet and comforter on beds. Broken/loose boards on balcony upstairs. ZERO hangars in any closet. Thermostat literally hanging off the wall. Door to rental does not lock until two minutes after shutting the door. Therefore leaving you standing there until it does lock and you feel safe enough to leave. Blinds hanging by one side downstairs. Old, big rug rolled/balled up in the corner of living room. Cobwebs, grass all over patio, sidewalks and house. Rent with caution. Could be nice, but it is not taken care of and basic amenities ARE NOT provided as stated!!! Also on other platforms it’s listed as pet friendly. On Booking it is not. This would have made a difference for our family!

8.0Location was great and very clean!! Loved being right on the water, with a dock, and just a short drive to anything we needed.
− Several light bulbs were out and the beds were not very comfortable.
A relaxing peaceful stay. Great location. The home is a bright and welcoming space.

− Personal preference we like a firmer bed.

10.0The location was so peaceful. Property sits right on the lake and the view was beautiful especially at night. There is a deck where you can sit and watch the boats go by. Kids loved it! There’s also a balcony in the master that you can sit on which was really lovely. It’s family friendly and the host was very accommodating.
Spent a week with family and enjoyed a relaxing week of fishing and grilling.
10.0Loved that the location was in a quiet neighborhood outside of town.
