A very memorable Toledo trip!
10.0Everything!!
− Not the best neighborhood, but we still felt safe.

9.0Really gorgeous historic mansion with every modern convenience
Best place to stay near downtown
9.0Very comfortable and Patrick is a fantastic host. Breakfast is really wonderful.
− Better, more inviting, signage
Depressed setting
1.0It's probably pretty on the inside.
− Urban blight. This place is not in a vacation spot. All around are vacant lots, boarded-up buildings, and a rehab facility. The B&B itself has broken glass in the turret and a boarded-up window over the front door. I drove by it twice thinking, "This can't possibly be right." The exterior photos are cleverly misleading. Instead, I stayed at a regular hotel.
Marvelous!
10.0Everything…I’m an old house person and so appreciate the incredible restoration work that has been done to date..not bothered by a little dust..the location was ideal ..easily able to join in family functions in metro and suburban Toledo…walked to a Mud Hens game..visited Toledo Museum of Art and the National Museum of the Great Lakes…never having been to Toledo, we expected a decaying rust belt city..what we found was anything but…a city re-inventing itself-parks are being re-imagined and improved..the Riverfront is being incorporated into redevelopment plans..historic districts are being preserved..the recent turmoil on the West End was as a result of out of control young people..Toledo will overcome..in short…..we love Toledo and hope to visit again
− Our host!!! Chef, historian and raconteur! Awesome breakfasts…incredible home being lovingly restored!
Nice but not as expected.
5.0The location and atmosphere.
− Our room was a bit dirty and the caretaker forgot breakfast and bought donuts.
