Comfortable lodge in a great location. Anew cooker and upgraded TV and it would be exceptional.

Very clean and comfortable lodge in a great location.

The oven didn’t work, and some of the gas hobs didn’t work either. A table top oven was provided but it wasn’t very good, so it made cooking a lite difficult. Despite this we had a fantastic holiday in very clean and comfortable accommodation with a great view. If the lodge had a new cooker and an updated TV it would be exceptional.

Lovely location & good size Lodge

7.0

The Lodge was a really good size (wide & spacious). Both bedrooms are really good sizes. Had a big fridge freezer which made the food shopping a lot easier. It is near the clubhouse and it's a nice stroll downhill to the beach. Slight sea view above the chalets in front too which was an added bonus!

The Lodge is very 'tired' and needs some TLC/repairs which we didn't see from the initial pictures. It wasn't the cleanest either and having a little one that is on the move I had to thoroughly hoover over the first couple of days to remove a lot of the dog hair (we are a pet free family). Also the kitchen oven didn't fully work and there was a big crack behind the hob. Some of the handles on the windows were slightly loose too. But still closed OK. All in all I think it was slightly over priced for the condition it was in but still a nice stay.

The accommodation was lovely and comfortable.

The accommodation just needs a little bit of tlc, the floors need a really good clean and little bits need fixing.

A tired caravan but a good holiday, nevertheless.

7.0

The location of the caravan was nice with a view of the harbour and was easy to find on arrival. Although the caravan was on the main thoroughfare, it wasn’t too noisy. We could park the car, right outside.

The caravan was a bit dated and tired and we had to clean the saucepans and pans before use. There wasn’t a sharp knife so I was glad I had brought my own, as we have been caught out before. A lot of the seals around the windows needed to be set back in as we noticed they were loose. We also noticed the gas certificate and CO2 monitor were of date.

Great location on this site and for the beautiful beach walks

8.0

We knew the site and have stayed there previously so knew the area which is lovely, especially Priory bay our favorite beach. We were told about the cooker not working prior to traveling and we did have a problem getting the heating to work so the instructions weren't clear once we had managed to get hold of the owner and get the heating working it was a very comfortable stay. The layout of the accommodation is perfect for 2 couples and lovely to have a full sized bath as well as a shower. I would book again.

Better instructions about both the central heating and the lounge fire.
