New Apartment, not so much!
4.0The place was newer and stocked very well. Close to I5 which can be good or bad.
− First off I was asked to pay a security deposit 2 days before arrival from a different company then Booking.com When I called booking.com they say that was not in the privacy agreement. But if I didn't pay it I wouldn't get the code to the door. Then the people above us made noises day and night. The walls are very thin. There was a syringe/hypodermic needle in the gravel close to where we parked. It looked like there was black mold behind the toilet near the cabinet. The refrigerator middle freezer drawer seemed poorly put together and didn't seem to be working properly. The AC stopped working on our third day. The key pad to lock the door didn't always work properly because the door had a lot of play and also wasn't sealed properly, so one day we thought it was locked to come back to find out it actually didn't lock. Which isn't great when there is homeless people living two blocks away from where we were staying. The couch was rock hard and some of the dishes were dirty in the cabinet. I think the owners are more concerned about making a buck than having a comfortable place to stay. I wouldn't stay there again. It would be nice to have a partial refund to be honest. I'm normally not one to complain but the additional fee two days before going there for a work trip really was an unpleasant start to the trip.

7.0Very clean, easy access to freeway, beautiful kitchen. We saved a lot being able to make bfast and dinner in the apartment. Host very responsive.
− I was concerned about noise from freeway but actually it was not an issue. Be aware though that you will hear neighbors above you. Not sure if that's also a short term rental or permanent neighbors. Would be even better if there was an outside sitting area.
