1.0We liked the outside gym at Mayan Resort
− The property is very run down, we had to wait for 30 minutes with two small children after a 4hrs drive for the reception to arrive. The property wasn't ready and was dirty and stank of alcohol. We then decided to first go to Mayan for our kids to use the pool, but unfortunately there where day visitors drunk and having a party at the pool, we didn't feel it acceptable for our kids, it felt unsafe. We then tried to cancel our booking based on the above but was declined by the property. Families be warned, do not try and stay here.
