Great stay in Whitburn, house had everything we needed and more, especially for our miniature Dachshund too. Not far from the beach and local shops it was well located and with bus links to both South shields and seaburn it was ideal for our trip. Next time I go back up to the North East to see family I will be booking this property again

Living accommodation was great for 5 adults. Clean and spacious. Garden was a bonus.

− Only 2 dishwasher tablets but also 1 tea towel for 5 people for 3 days. Bunk beds not really suitable for adults and seemed wobbly.

Fantastic overall. Well thoughtout layout, good provisions for home cooking, clean, welcoming. Hope to stay again.

− Kitchen was cosy and we wanted to all be together in there, but limited sofa space meant some sat on dining chairs. Appreciate there was front living room with more sofa space, but rear of property was warmer

The property had a great location for the beach and local amenities. The house was a decent size for a party of 6 people.

− The cleaning of some of the appliances i.e. the cooker and the microwave could have been better as there was still remnants of food in them. There also needs to be a second set of plates and cutlery to enable the use of the dishwasher, also some additional pans. There should also be more dishwasher tablets provided for the days you are staying. Also, 2 tea towels would have been handy. There are a few little maintenance jobs that need doing, such as the upstairs sink plug sticks, the patio doors need some wd40 applying so they slide easier. The patio doors need an outdoor step to aid older people and dogs getting in and out. These were not things that we did not really like but that could have made the stay a little better for us and those coming after us.

The house was immaculate, nicely decorated, fully equipt for everyday needs and the little touches didn't go unnoticed (baskets of blankets, Amazon stick for the TV, cleaning products/condiments) Use of a dishwasher, washing machine, ironing board, a wide range of kitchen utensils, towels, hair dryer, remote controlled ceiling panel heaters, WiFi available. Private parking fully secure onsite, at the back of the garden. Whether your looking for a family get away or somewhere to entertain friends for the week. The beach is a 2min car journey away, with amusements and resturants. Plenty of take aways close by and a small coop within walking distance or a big Morrisons 2minutes down the road in the car. I would most certainly, highly recommend booking a stay here if visiting the area. Places to visit in the Area: Seaburn beach 3min drive Ocean Beach Pleasure Park 11min drive Angel of the North 30min drive Chesters Roman Fort and Museum - Hadrian's Wall 1hr drive away Overall 10/10
