Excellente situation, excellent rapport qualité prix. Nous avons logé deux nuit à Londres dans un quartier calme dans une chambre pour 2 avec sdb partagée pour environ 130 euros. Niveau confort "student" correspondant largemeent au prix payé.

A great place to stay in London at an excellent price.

The place was in a great location, just a short walk from Camden and Euston stations. The room was nice and warm despite the cold weather, and the Wi-Fi worked really well. The owner was friendly and understanding, and it was handy to have kitchen access. The shower worked fine too. Overall, a good place to stay for a day or 2, especially for the location and price.

− The room was a little small, and the kitchen could have been tidier, but those are minor things. For the price I paid in London, I really can’t complain. Overall, there’s very little I’d change, and I’d happily consider staying here again just for the price and location.

Basic Camden Stay with Good Location

Good location, easy access, flexible check in.

− Very basic room, very uncomfortable bed, very little interaction with the host. On the 2nd night I asked for blankets to put down between me and the mattress, which improved my sleep a little. Hopefully the host will replace the mattress as a matter of urgency. I thought I had booked the double room for single occupancy but I was given the very basic single room.

Lack of security and cleanliness

The host is kind and the appartement is well located in a calm residential area.

− We don't usually leave comments, but it's important people know that the situation is not ideal at all. The apartment has three rooms rented on top of the host living there, yet there are no ways of locking the doors when we leave. This means we either leave our belongings unsecure or have to take them with us when going out. And when we are inside the room, the only way to lock it is with a small hook, which broke down during our stay. Also the wall seperating our room with the one in the middle has a glass window, which meant that when our neighbour had their light on, it was also bright light in our room... not ideal at night. There is a general lack of cleanliness and a scent of mildew in the room. We have talked with the host and he told us he changed the locks, so it should feel more secure hopefully.

We liked the hospitality of the owner. He's purely a gentleman. No issues at all. Great value for money and close to attractions. He also allowed us to use the kitchen and store baggage for a few hours free of charge.
