Disappointing. Communication with host was difficult.
4.0Close to central Kericho
− Very noisy. We were given an apartment on first floor above main entrance and parking lot. Second bedroom window opened onto stairwell so very noisy. The apartment we were given wasn’t as well maintained as the one we had booked. The apartment we originally booked was on fourth floor overlooking golf course but had no power so we were moved. Shower hot water didn’t work in one bathroom. It would have been better if host offered an apartment similar to the one we booked but perhaps that wasn’t possible. We would have appreciated being told that original apartment wasn’t available as we were confused upon check in as to why we were on first floor. Also housekeeper rang our doorbell at 7 am to ask if everything was ok. Fortunately we were up and almost ready to go but another guest might have still been in bed. Suggest that housekeeper not arrive until checkout time.
