6.0The flat is in the very city center and just 8 minutes walk from the Malecon. It also has a 24h supermarket next door for basic needs. The flat was clean.
− The most annoying thing is that there is only one small window in the room. However this is on the ground floor, and cannot be left unattended if open. The big windows in the front of the house cannot be opened. The only way to make air circulate is to keep the door of the flat open, which is also not ideal, as the flat is directly on a busy street. This makes the flat smell stale, old and humid. The flat is also very bad equipped. No water, just some very small pots and a few cutlery. No hair dryer. Towels do not dry. Considering the front windows gives on the street, ground floor, one has to keep the curtain semi closed. But even if open, the flat is super dark, and the lights are very dim. I read some reviews dated 2023 that suggested some small clever improvements but they do not seem to have been made at all. This is a pity, as the flat is nice but much worse than what it looks in the pictures. Last, there seems to be some space in front of the flat, looking at the pictures. This is not the case, as the flat is directly on the street pavement, and stray dogs are everywhere in town (hence not advisable to let the door open). So, all in all, good for max 2 nights, in my view.
With just a few things added, this little gem would be a perfect place to stay. Thank you
7.0Location, it was very clean, nicely appointed, comfortable bed.
− Lock on bedroom door was backwards. Kitchen needed, 2 wine glasses, two bowls, wine opener, ice cube trays, internet wasn’t working-so TV wasn’t, couldn’t find remote for air, lighter for the gas stove was empty. No Kleenex or paper towels.
