Les enfants ont aimé avoir une tv dans leur chambre… c’est tout !!

− Beaucoup trop loin de la Path Station, annoncé 10 minutes en réalité 25 minutes, après une journée passée dans les rues de New York, ca fait long pour rentrer. La chaudière était défectueuse, un bruit ressemblant à une alarme nous réveillait toutes les heures à cause d’une fuite. Ce fût signalé, un plombier était sensé passer mais au final rien n’a été fait. L’appartement était au Rez de chaussée, mais l’une des fenêtres donnant sur la rue principale était cassée, et pouvait s’ouvrir de l’extérieur. Avec une famille de trois enfants, pour nous la sécurité n’était pas au rendez-vous. Nous avons dû couper la chaudière et bloquer la fenêtre avec une vis…un manque très important d’ustensiles de cuisine, c’était très difficile de faire à manger. Et pour finir Hoboken est un chouette ville avec de petits appartements vraiment mignons mais pour le coup celui là était vraiment le pire de tout le quartier, ça ne donne vraiment pas envie… triste d’avoir payé ce prix là, c’était une très grosse partie du budget hébergement de notre voyage.

Good value for a big group but far location

This was booked because it could accommodate our group of eight. There were 3 bedrooms and there was also a mobile bed we used placing it in the large living room. Space outside of the bedrooms were adequate for all our luggage. However there was only one bathroom and we had to wait in turn to use it. The kitchen was well equipped. We cooked our own breakfast there.

− The location was a distance from Manhattan. We parked our cars at a garage nearby but had to walk quite a distance to catch a bus or tram to town. Entry was via a complex system of a key locket outside, then a series of door then digital code to the apartment. It was a bit nerve racking to ensure that we don’t forget the key. That there was only one bathroom for eight of us.

We loved staying at this property. So much space for a family of four. Hoboken is a lovely area. We walked each day to the PATH train and within a little over 10 minutes we were in the heart of Manhattan.
