10.0Conveniently located, beautiful property, and amenities. The owner of the property was kind, helpful, and available promptly when needed.
I wanted to be impressed but couldn't get there.
4.0We really liked the size of the unit. We liked that everyone in our party had their own bed and space. We appreciated the full kitchen and the modern appliances.
− First, nowhere could I find in the Booking.com site for this property where it mentions the unit is on the 3rd floor with no elevator. So that was the first ugh moment. The stairs were somewhat creepy. I would have felt better with a way to lock the door from the inside that was not accessible from the outside like a door chain or a bar of some kind, because there is no guarantee with a unit with a digital lock that the managers change the code after each guest. The managers put a lot of work into the aesthetic of the unit but the foundation needs to be solid before that matters or it's just lipstick on a pig. There is a room that looks like a dog chewed up the door jam and it was just painted over. There was a window shaker AC unit in one room and spotty central AC in the rest of the rooms. Many of the metal blinds were broken. One was actually taped together. One corner of the small couch in the livingroom was actually supported by an old paint can. The barn style door on the bathroom was a nice idea...but the reality is there is only one bathroom and it is near the main livingroom. With a door that does not fully close EVERYONE gets to hear and smell what's gong on in the bathroom. The first bedroom gets no internet. The fancy wireless light switches - when there are any light switches at all - don't work. The TV in the primary bedroom has no sound. The electrical in the primary bedroom closet ceiling looks outrageously unsafe. There was no visible info on fire escapes. There were large holes in the floor filled in with spray foam. The primary bedroom mattress has springs pushing out the left side. My husband ended up having to sleep on the couch because of this. There are no blinds or curtains in the kitchen so if you need something at night wear pants or the whole neighborhood can see you. To be totally honest we considered leaving upon arrival and just taking the loss.
