Beautifully designed and maintained apartment in an ideal location

This is a very recently converted apartment, thoughtfully laid out and impeccably maintained. The main room has a generous seating area with sofa and comfy armchairs overlooking South Beach and the fort, a dining table for four and a more than adequate kitchen area; the bedrooms are surprisingly large (especially the main bedroom, which overlooks a quiet back garden) and the larger of the two shower rooms has a huge and very effective shower. The location is ideal, just a few minutes' walk from the bustle of the town centre but without the noise. The Esplanade is a delightful clifftop road with views which are, if anything, more spectacular than they appear in the property listing, and with the sound of the waves to soothe you at night. The road is lightly used by traffic, not enough to be intrusive. If arriving by car, you should be aware that the on-street parking is reserved for permit holders, but the Seafront Car Park is only a couple of minutes' walk away and there was no shortage of spaces when we stayed in August. You can unload at the property, but this requires a little patience, as buses occasionally use the road, so it's important not to stop on the restricted area at the corner.

It's a wonderful location .Highly recommend this apartment to stay in .It's the second time we have stayed here and in the bestest spot for the greatest views

The view was brilliant. The accomodation was clean and secure. Great location.

− Not enough kitchen equipment. No sharp knives, collandor, chopping board or cafetierre. Front bedroom has no bed side lights and right hand side of mattress springs have gone so uncomfortable.

Incredible view. Very comfortable apartment. Excellent location.

− Not very secure - the downstairs front door and inner door we're open when we arrived. The front door did not lock. The inner door always seemed to be on the latch as well. Luckily the door to our property was secure buy we were encouraged to leave the key downstairs with a very easy to guess code. Kitchen lacking basic equipment, including chopping board. Very few cups and glasses etc. Host unresponsive via email.
