Beautiful surroundings, spacious room, food could be better
8.0The ambience, staff and service, food ordered at night were all good.
− The breakfast buffet menu could most definitely be improved with some less oily or less watery dishes, like upma, uttapa, idli, sanna....It seemed to cater to South indians, who were surprisingly present too!!
Tv was not available and bath room was found uncleam and used at the time of arrival.

6.0− this is not a 4 or 5 star hotel, it has to be one of loudest hotels I've ever stayed in, there is no cushioning around the door frame to dull the sound of doors being shut/slammed, there is no sound proofing - I could hear chairs being dragged across a floor from the other side of the building, inside aircon unit was loud and the outside unit was even louder, the room I was allocated had the hotels generator right under the balcony - it was 10 days after checking in that heard the generator start up - the room vibrated - had I been in the room earlier when the generator started up I would have demanded a change of room, there is satellite tv but to access it one must first log into google and there are only 8/9 english channels, smoking area (breakfast time) is on the side of the walkways with just 2 garden chairs and a table with no shade, no hot water very early morning - leaving for airport 3 am, door to the balcony is only locked by a bolt at the top and there was a gap between balcony doors even when locked, there is no mini bar, the bar doesn't have a cash float, all in all an overrated hotel, it's only saving grace is that it's a short walk to the beach

7.0Nice small property set in a wooded area about a ten minute walk to the beach. Staff were lovely. We had initially been allowed a late check out but then the day before we were told this was not available. However, the staff pulled out all stops to allow us to stay as long as possible in the room (1pm), which was appreciated.
− The road to the beach was fairly precarious and there wasn’t any option of a shuttle to and from. The food was all right but nothing as good as I’ve eaten elsewhere.
