Good choice for a reunion/celebration
9.0The location was great. There was ample parking. The accommodation was spacious and well presented, if a little dated. There were two modern bathrooms and an extra cloakroom. The beds were very comfortable. The host was accommodating. The air-fryer was much appreciated (we have only recently started using one at home), there was a large multi-function microwave/cooker and the double oven was clean.- we made good use of all three.
− A reasonably sized fridge freezer and a dishwasher would have enhanced our stay. The kitchen was compact and several essential kitchen items were lacking, including a cafetiere, a can opener, a bread knife, a sieve and/or collander, a whisk and other basics you would expect to find in a kitchen. There were only eight knives, forks and dessert spoons and no servers.A non-stick pan would have been useful for making scrambled eggs. There was no light over the hob which was inconvenient as we had to use a torch to work out which knobs controlled which rings.
We had a wonderful time, defo come back again :).
