Spacious, well decorated apartment. Fully equipped kitchen, particularly liked the electric water filter, saved acres of plastic and clean, safe drinking water on tap. Laundry facilities include a good quiet washing machine and drying rack on balcony. Wall mounted TV in bedroom and secure WiFi. There is a lift in the complex so you don't need to haul your bags upstairs - we were on the first floor. The apartment was cleaned and bedding changed every four days, towels and hairdryer supplied. The helpers were friendly and efficient. The pool area is a calm space. There are lots of rules but that makes it easier for everyone. Our host was brilliant and always available if we needed anything or information. Las Viegas, a local supermarket, caters for foreigners and locals and stocks most of what you want, only five minutes drive away.

− While there are small shops close by, fruit and vegetable stalls, fresh chicken, small cafes, you do need transport. If the Saturday Market is your thing it is possible to walk there. Arpora, Baga, Anjuna are very close by car or two wheeler. There is limited car parking space at the complex. If you rely on taxis it could prove expensive to get around. You can rent bikes or cars, your host can give you contacts. The access road is uneven and potholed so drive carefully.
