Quite a disappointing stay. I am surprised how Bookin.com rating for this property is so high.
4.0The forest view from the balcony was nice. The unit was clean.
− Van Gogh loft is an apartment unit in the Selesa Hill Homes complex. The first disappointment was the general unmaintained / unkempt look of the buildings. The paint on the buildings have faded and discolored. Another unpleasant surprise was the unit was on the 4th floor. Walk up only. No lifts. I received and email a couple of days before the stay giving detail instructions on how to go to the particular block and unit, including the code for the key box (to collect keys). However when I entered the code it did not work. After several tries, I called the phone number given in the aforementioned email. Despite calling several times and also sending WhatsApp message, the person did not respond. He only called back almost 3 hours later. Fortunately, I was able to contact someone else listed on the Booking.com app, and got the correct key code. Was told the keycode was changed and a message had been sent to my Booking.com. I was unaware that Booking.com has a messaging function. Should have been sent to my email or WhatsApp instead. Secondly there was only one air conditioner for the whole duplex apartment and it was just too small (not powerful enough) for the size of the room. We were hot and uncomfortable during the day. Even at night it was warm inside. We were looking forward to soaking in the swimming pool due to the hot spell, but the pool was closed indefinitely for repairs. Not value for money.

This cozy little apartment is awesome staying place.
9.0We loved this cozy little apartment we are overjoyed to get such a good staying place. Every thing was very organized and the apartment was well maintained and fully equipped with all the necessary requirement.
− There was a transport issue which is quite stressful. Because if you have a booking to travel to next destination it is not easy to book grab. if they arranged transport to pick and drop it will be a very helpful and stress free.
Overall we enjoyed the stay.
9.0Clean and comfortable overall. Nice ambient with tasteful decoration. Facilities were complete with kitchen well equipped.
− It's only flaw was toilet was upstairs and a bit inconvenient for those who have difficulty with climbing stairs.
