10.0Overall, this ryokan provided a perfect blend of comfort, tradition, and heartfelt service. If you’re looking for an authentic Japanese experience with outstanding food, soothing onsen baths, and hosts who make you feel genuinely cared for, this is a place you won’t want to miss. Although there was no mention of breakfast when we booked - you can pre order the night before for a little over £5 per person! We were served a very delicious traditional Japanese breakfast which was an absolute delight. We also enjoyed wearing the complimentary kimono robes around the ryokan.

8.0Établissement un peu ancien mais très propre. Chaque jour on nous déposait un thermos d'eau chaude et du thé. La chambre était également faite tous les jours et étaient de bonne taille pour un hôtel au Japon. Il y avait également un réfrigérateur privé. Globalement l établissement était calme mais les murs en papier ne couvrent pas les bruits si les autres usagers sont bruyants. Attention, la salle de bain partagée est une sale de bain japonaise, il n'y a pas de douche privée, tout le monde partage la même pièce . Le bain était vraiment très agréable apres une journée de de marche.

10.0The location was perfect, within walking distance of all the major sights. Our room was spacious and we really enjoyed the onsen every night of our stay. The staff were attentive and friendly. There were many places to eat very near by.
