House is beautifully set

− Disappointing stay despite a beautiful setting The Jungle House is visually stunning but unfortunately *very run down*. The *ensuite shower didn’t work*, and both of us had to use the *tiny downstairs bathroom*, which was frustrating and inconvenient. The *management was the worst part* of the experience. Natalia, the manager, was *rude, unhelpful*, and gave *zero instructions* about the house or facilities. When I reported the shower issue, she expected me to stay at the house on Sunday to wait for a plumber, with no prior arrangement or instructions about keys. It felt like she wanted me to *manage the property for her*, which is absurd. I assumed she would meet the plumber, but no — total lack of professionalism. The *bush around the house is completely overgrown*, making the views from upstairs and around the pool *not at all like the photos*. No info was provided on where the bins were, so I had to leave them by the door. To top it off, the driveway is extremely steep and unsafe, even our taxi driver was unsure about going up. When I asked for a late checkout to make up for the issues, Natalia refused. *Zero effort to make things right.* *Would not stay again or recommend.*

The location was amazing with fantastic views. Located out of Mission Beach, it was very quiet and secluded.

− The house itself is a little dated and needs some TLC.

Beautiful property set in a gorgeous rainforest with amazing views. Sadly, the weather impacted the views but the views were still incredible. Lovely, well-kept gardens. It was honestly spectacular. I would come again in a heartbeat with a 4WD and my husband driving. I recommend taking up everything you need and enjoy laying in the hammock. Butterflies are beautiful.

− The driveway is incredibly long, pitch black (at night), steep and slippery. Please add a clear description for visitors before booking as my hire car, Mitsubishi Outlander, could not make it up the driveway in the rain and dark. This was very frightening for my 70 year old mother who had to crawl up the mountain in the dark. I recommend adding up the top of the description: 4WD advisable. Slippery when wet. Arrive before dark.

Absolutely stunning views and a lovely balcony, well laid out upper floor, beautiful pool. Loved the hammock!

− The master bed wasn't super comfy. Couldn't walk to the beach.
