One of the best experiences I had. The house is spacious and beautiful inside and out. The host was kind and offered us a bottle of wine and coffee. It is located close enough to the center and far enough to escape from que confusion. Parking was a big plus as traffic in the center is very limited and reserved to residents. I hope to return someday in the future.

NOT FOR FAMILIES! A nightmare next to Lisbon

The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen, despite being extremely filthy, is quite equipped. Given the buys location, the house isn't very noisy.

− The bottom line is that we chose to leave the place after just 1 night, despite paying for 3. Connection with the owner is impossible. they didn't answer any of our calls, only replied to message through booking chat, and sometimes Whatsapp. The house is located on a busy, steep, twisty main road. To park the car, you have to temporarily stop on the sidewalk, blocking traffic, get out of the car, type a code, than quickly navigate the car, while blocking traffic, through a narrow gate. Same goes on the way out. Better to have someone holding traffic for you as you do. Doing it with two kids in the car seemed dangerous. There is no remote, so this is the only way. We were 7 people in a van, and the owner knew it, but explained that "there is no place to specify it". How steep and curvy the road is? We ordered pizza and it arrived completely smashed. Next - the doors in the place all have a code mechanism to open. Imagine: you are a parent, and your child of 4, cries in the next room... You need to remember a 4 digit code at 3am to open the door of its closed. It's a design ment for renting the rooms separately I guess? But no cards, keys or any other methods than this stupid code. This also means you can't lock the external doors from the inside. Only from outside, so if your kid opens the door and goes out, he will just get locked outside. Even if this is all acceptable without a heads-up, the place is disgustingly dirty. We had stains on the sheets, stuff that other folks left behind under our bed, sockets falling off with exposed wires, ANTS IN THE COFFEE MACHINE and water boiler (crunchy and nutritious) fat dripping from the cooking hood extractor, panels falling off in the kitchen. Outside area not reflected in photos - it's dangerous for kids because of neglect (broken tiles, building materials). EDIT: AFTER SUBMITTING THIS REVIEW, the owner offered a refund IF we removed it. Makes you wonder about the 9+ score...

Ótima casa, com excelentes instalações

Como já dito pelas resenhas anteriores, a casa é excelente. Quatro quartos muito bonitos, decoração de bom gosto, limpeza muito boa do local, uma pasta com boas recomendações de atividades locais… achei a acomodação ótima! Muito espaço para cada hóspede e a casa parece ter sido renovado conservando itens da estrutura original. Sintra é uma cidadezinha muito charmosa!

− Tivemos um problema estrutural, mas que foi resolvido assim que possível. Só que como ficamos só duas noites, isto comprometeu um pouquinho a estadia. E como o valor da hospedagem não é barato (mas é justo) isto pesou um pouco.
