Our family of 8 adults and 6 children enjoyed our stay but the house is not a luxury chalet
4.0Very peaceful and pretty location next to a lake and near hikes into the Catskills. Lots of beds, great hot tub, well equipped kitchen, easy communication with host. Cost was acceptable given the number of people it is able to accommodate.
− The photos are misleading - the house is not in good repair (the outside fireplace was corroded and toppled over), quite unsafe for children (especially the stairs for younger than 4 years), and smelled of mold downstairs. A surprise $59 charge for "renter's insurance" during our stay..
