Great house for a group

Really liked the open living and kitchen area and specially the balcony overlooking the park and beach across the road. The location is great, close to everything. Being a group of 5 friends, it was good that we each had our own room.

− 1. I must have missed it in the fine print but we really didn't like having to make up our beds (and strip them at the end of our stay). We have been travelling together annually for more than 25 years and we've never had to do that before especially as the place is not cheap. 2. The key did not unlock the perimeter gate so the only way in and out of the house was through the garage. The key, however, unlocked the front door so I think it is supposed to unlock the gate as well. 3. The pool pump is extremely noisy, is on all night and is right next to one of the bedrooms. The unfortunate friend who got that room did not sleep very well.

Nice house and plenty of space though uncomfortable despite available facilities.

The property itself was nice and in an easy location.

− Mainly issues with management, I.e not enough toilet paper provided for the 3 bathrooms, You have to make and strip your own beds despite linen being provided, The water pressure for a 3storey home is non existent- there is option for spa bath though would be impossible to use due to time it would take to fill and the hot water supply isn’t sufficient for the size of the property. Stayed for 5 nights and only had hot water for 2 of them and it was impossible to reach management when problems came about,

We had a very relaxing stay. A convenient location close to the local tavern and shops.

Great location, across the road from a quiet, calm water beach. The pool was clean, offered some shade and great for cooling off. The outdoor shower was helpful to remove sand after a beach visit.

− A lot of stairs inside the house which I didn't read/see in the description on booking.com. No hand soap in any of the three bathrooms. No body wash, shampoo or conditioner provided, which I would expect to be provided in a 'high-end' holiday house. No washing up liquid left in the kitchen, only tea/coffee pods left by previous visitors was available. Perhaps these items were in the 'welcome pack' however checking in on a Saturday we couldn't collect this from the office. Could that be left in the house by cleaning/office staff if visitors are checking-in after hours?

The house is in a great location across from the water and near the boat ramp. The house is the perfect spot for a few families as it is spacious and has plenty of room. This end of Golden Beach was nice and quiet too.

− The house did need a deep clean as there was dust built up on the fans a cobwebs in the corners. Otherwise over all it was tidy.
