Lovely spot. Very good accommodation. Everything you need for a short stay

Lovely location and with some attention to detail the lodge could be very acceptable.

The lodge was well located for the touring we wanted to do. it was clean inside and well equipped except that a decent broom and a vacuum cleaner would be helpful.

− The beds!! We read bad reports about the beds before we booked but your response to the criticism on the website was that this matter would be fixed. Sadly it has not - we spent three very uncomfortable nights trying to sleep but the beds and the mattresses are just simply not up to scratch. Suggest you take a leaf out of Premier Inns book and fit decent quality beds right through the lodges. The other disappointing factor was that the outside furniture was covered in green lichen and had clearly not been washed down since the winter. Ice box in fridge was completely bunged up with ice and the fridge needs defrosting regularly.

− The beds were very uncomfortable. The mattress was very thin and not very strong beds.

Great location for exploring Suffolk

Very clean and spacious. Good kitchen for self catering. Nice fast Wifi. Liked the garden for the dog and had seating on the patio too. Plenty of parking. Bus stop right outside. Walking distance to Pettistree (Pub), and Wickham Market (Co op & cafes), and pretty Ufford (two pubs). A short drive to lovely Framlingham. Good location to A12 so we could hop in the car to visit local beaches at Aldeburgh and a little further up at Walberswick and Southwold.

− The middle legs on the bed were loose and kept moving in the night (making the bed sag in the middle) so we had to move to the other room (Ok for us as we were not using both bedrooms). We have told the managers who said they will fix this. The whole apartment was very hot. The property had excellent underfloor heating, but this was not easy to control and was set to 29degrees when we arrived. It did cool down later in the week after a bit of tweaking of the controls, but the dog in particular found it hard to find a cool spot to lay in.
