Comfortable if noisy Margate flat
8.0Nice, recently refurbished basement flat well located in Margate, around 10 minutes from the seafront. Reasonably spacious and comfortable, it was a nice base for a few nights.
− As it's a flat you expect this, but the upstairs neighbours are rather noisy. There was also nowhere to dry clothes, despite the garden̈ area being ideal for it.

1.0The flat was clean. Easy to access. Beds comfortable.
− Overwhelmingly, the noise from the flat above. There is no soundproofing between the rental flat and the neighbour's flat upstairs. They (upstairs) played music throughout the night, into the morning, both nights of our stay. Assuming this is the case every weekend. It is unfortunate that the neighbours keep such late hours but more an issue that the flat we stayed in has not been soundproofed. A good night's sleep was NOT on the cards. This certainly needs addressing.

− Nextdoor were up for days partying and shouting about at all hours. Not sure if they live there full time or was rented out.
