Stunning Sunset, but Not Worth It in Summer
6.0The highlight of this stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking Icelandic sunset, which was absolutely unforgettable. I can imagine this being a good place to stay in winter if your main goal is to hunt for the Aurora.
− The bedroom and the bathroom were extremely cramped. Several rooms are connected in the same building, and the soundproofing is poor, so noise from neighboring guests can be easily heard. Another major issue was the large number of insects around the cabin. I stayed in several mountain cabins during my trip around Iceland, but this was the only one where insects were such a problem. It seemed that the vegetation surrounding the property had not been properly maintained, resulting in swarms of insects gathering around the building.
