The inside of the property was great

− The access. The balcony stairs are located on the grass with not footpath, stepping stones or patio area. The ground was horrendously muddy which made it extremely difficult for us as we are in our late 70’s and had our 51 year old disabled son with us who had bad walking difficulties. All the other lodges in the area had stepping stones or patio slabs where the stairs enter and off the tarmac leading to the stairs. Ours was the only one without anything. When I messaged the owners they just said the grounds were the park’s responsibility and didn’t accept the fact they failed to provide an adequate and safe entry to the property. It was dangerous due to the grounds and weather condition. If it was in the advert description we would not of stayed at this property.

Overall, a very lovely stay in a spacious modern lodge with everything that we needed! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Very spacious, comfortable beds, great WiFi, the onsuite shower room was a bonus as it wasn’t mentioned. It was very modern and having the outside space to relax was nice.

− 2 of the windows were broken, they wouldn’t open even though listed as a means of escape in a fire. A small welcome pack including essentials such as washing liquid for the price of the stay would have been nice. It was difficult to initially locate. A better guide and detailed map provided would have been handy.
