10.0The host was very helpful in that when we arrive we found there was no parking permit - the previous guests had accidentally taken this with them - the host quickly resolved this issue for us which we were very grateful for. Rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. Good kitchen which was very useful. Easy short walk into York centre.

7.0Very good location, clean property.
− Poor communication from host - we tried to message regarding a window blind that would not close (on a large skylight directly above the bed) but got no response. Given it was 30 degrees and light at 4am we really could have done with a blind that closed! Also there were a few basics lacking - tea bags; shampoo and body wash in the showers etc. As we only stayed two nights it was annoying to have to buy these.
